The Position
As a Data Analyst on our data science team, you will ingest, clean, interpret, and visualize large datasets to drive educated decision making across the organization. Working with a variety of data types and sources – including user tracking and engagement data, digital advertising data, inventory data, and CRM data – you will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, customer success, customer experience, and product teams to influence positive business outcomes. Your work will be instrumental in improving client experience, retention, and profitability.

- Create functional and approachable visualizations that distill complex data stories down to actionable insights
- Communicate findings effectively and proactively to ensure key results are well understood and incorporated into business processes
- Produce automated reports that scale with the business, in addition to performing ad hoc analyses and research tasks
- Build efficient workflows, interface with existing data pipelines, and propose improvements to streamline analysis
- Be involved in every stage of the analytics process, from ideation through to stakeholder communication
- Collaborate with internal teams to make data-driven decisions, as well as work directly with enterprise-level clients to fulfill custom reporting needs
- Pivot to align with business priorities as they change, sometimes rapidly
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL
- Experience with Tableau or equivalent data visualization tool
- Basic knowledge of statistics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly analytical and detail oriented
- Comfortable working with large (1 TB+) datasets
- Passionate about technology and continuous learning
Nice to Haves:
- Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS, and/or other cloud data platforms
- Experience with Salesforce
- Knowledge of machine learning
- Understanding of Google Analytics or similar web analytics platform
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent job experience
- 3+ years of experience working in analytics or BI
Starting Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 (depending on experience)
