Job Description
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 6+ years of payroll experience, preferably with 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven experience in global payroll management in a multinational company.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws & regulations, and employment-related matters
- Familiarity with payroll software and systems, including experience with implementing and optimizing payroll systems.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, conditional formatting, if-and formulas)
- Must have proficiency in Workday and ADP
- Basic accounting knowledge/skills
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and to effectively communicate complex payroll matters to employees and management.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with utmost professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving attitude with the ability to adapt to changing requirements and work under pressure.
- Sense of urgency around the global payroll process and comfort supporting multiple time zones
In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for:
- efficiently leading the Americas and EMEA payroll teams and managing payroll processes across various time zones and in multiple countries.
- supervising the entire payroll processes, including preparation, processing, and reconciliation of the Company's global and multi-state payroll, ensuring payroll is accurately and timely calculated, processed, and disbursed for all employees across multiple countries and payroll methods.
- possessing an understanding of global payroll regulations and employment-related matters.
- collaborating with our Culture and Talent partners and playing a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- accurately collecting payroll data, validating, and processing of payroll information, including but not limited to regular wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, deductions, retirement election changes, special payments, and taxes.
- staying up to date with local tax laws, labor regulations, and statutory requirements in all countries of operation.
- ensuring that our payrolls are compliant with respective laws and regulations and updating payroll policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- performing payroll reconciliations, completing the necessary audits to ensure accuracy, and addressing discrepancies promptly.
- preparing journal entries and supporting reports for our General Ledger/Accounting team.
- overseeing the year-end payroll process for all countries, including the issuance of W-2 forms, T4s, and other tax filings based on each country.
- providing recommendations and assisting the Global Payroll Director with strategic oversight and optimization of the payroll management systems, ensuring that all systems are up-to-date, efficient, and aligned with the company's needs.
- assisting the Global Payroll Director in the implementation/maintenance of robust data security measures to protect sensitive payroll information and maintain the highest level of confidentiality in handling payroll data.
- generating accurate and timely payroll reports for management and other stakeholders as required.
- analyzing payroll data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
- liaising with external payroll service providers ensuring the quality of service, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to service level agreements.
- assisting the Global Payroll Director with SOX compliance, providing external auditors and tax agencies with the necessary support for audits and inquiries.
- acting as the main point of contact for escalations and responses to all employee payroll inquiries, both internationally and domestically using Care Lite (ticketing system).
- continuously reviewing and enhancing the payroll processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness.
- assisting with the implementation of process improvements.
- leading/participating in special projects and other automation initiatives.

Compensation Range
$92,000 - $122,000 - $153,000
The base salary range for this role at minimum, midpoint and maximum is shown above. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired close to or at the maximum of the salary range. At Sprinklr, base pay depends on multiple individualized factors, including experience, qualifications, job-related knowledge and skills, and geographic location. Base pay also depends on the relative experience, knowledge, skills to our internal peers in the role. Base pay is only one part of our competitive Total Rewards package: the successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Sprinklr’s discretionary bonus plan, commission plan and/or equity plan, depending on role.
