The role, at a glance:
Biamp is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to serve the Pacific Northwest US Sales Region. The RSM is responsible for managing and supporting our Building Infrastructure Sales and is responsible for sales to the dealer channel. The RSM is a critical resource for the dealer channel – helping them achieve their business, functional, and operational objectives.
This home-based position involves 75% travel in the Pacific Northwest region of the US, requiring the individual to be located near a major airport in the Pacific Northwest region; preferably Seattle or Portland. Occasional travel outside of the territory may be required.
How you'll contribute:
- Devise and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth with Building infrastructure sales channel partners.
- Develop, build, nurture and maintain close relationships with the dealer channel.
- Work with various stakeholders in Biamp to cover all aspects of a project and ensure success.
- Collaborate on dealer account strategies with Biamp sales team members and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Meet and exceed regional sales targets.
- Engage in pre-sales activities including discovery meetings with current and prospective end user accounts, coordinate internal Biamp team meetings, develop go-to-market strategies, drafting implementation plans and aligning internal resources as necessary.
- Continuously track reporting and dashboard metrics to ensure sales and implementation objectives and timelines are on track; also ensuring that obstacles and issues are identified early.
- Lead quarterly business reviews (as required) with your team account executive teams, key stakeholders, and Biamp leadership. Drive agendas, develop and deliver content.
- Articulate the Biamp value proposition.
- Ensure an account engagement and collaboration plan is developed.
- Respond in a timely manner to all account inquiries with a sense of urgency.
- Drive attendance at Biamp sales-led events.
- Identify additional opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell, and work with the sales team to communicate and capitalize on them.

A successful candidate should have:
- 5+ years of Audio-Video dealer account management experience.
- 2+ years of Audio sales experience.
- Currently based in or planning to relocate to the Pacific Northwest.
- Enthusiasm for the AV market and its new opportunities – specifically in Sound Masking and Paging.
- Strong business development skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of professional AV technologies, and current industry practices regarding system design, deployment, and operation.
- Executive-level communication, planning and presentation skills.
- A natural tendency towards building mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Ability to create quick, strong rapport with both channel partners and Sales executives.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work autonomously.
- Attention to detail and follow-up.
- Capacity to learn, adapt and apply ideas in constantly evolving situations.
- Ability to work effectively in an environment that is remote from a Biamp office.
- Ability to travel up to 75%, both domestic and international.
Work environment:
- This is a remote (at-home) position based in the US Pacific Northwest region, with preference for Seattle or Portland metropolitan areas.
- Routine use of standard office equipment.
- In compliance with state pay transparency regulations, Biamp offers a competitive base salary of $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
