Salesforce CRM is the backbone of our customer information flow at Leanpath, from the usual usage of tracking customer conversations, outreach and information, to the custom-coded sophisticated parts like tracking orders, managing pricebooks, maintaining multi-currency capabilities, enabling integrations into other systems, namely Netsuite, and more. If you are the type of Salesforce Developer that loves a complex puzzle and isn’t intimidated by integrations, global business needs, constantly evolving and improving processing, this could be the right role for you. We’re looking for someone who can combine technical expertise with a host of soft skills to provide effective and scalable solutions to a host of problems.
This role is a member of our Business Operations team. You’ll work on a small team where you’re involved with nearly every aspect of the business. You’ll lead the design and development of customizations, extensions, configurations, and integrations. The Salesforce Developer is in charge of design, development, testing and change management.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Working collaboratively with co-workers to create technical requirements and participate in application design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation of those projects.
- Translating business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and products.
- Supporting the planning of work within the confines of agile development practices.
- Utilizing best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, and bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce.com platform
- Providing technical assistance and end user troubleshooting including “how to” assistance
- Implementing custom business logic relating to Accounts, Opportunities, Orders, and other standard and custom objects that can vary based on customer engagement.
- Communicating effectively with a globally distributed team.
- Injecting your own creativity and problem solving into your work.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Salesforce Developer experience
- Proficient in developing Lightning Components and using the Lightning Design System
- Proficient in JavaScript and CSS
- Experience with Lighting App Builder and other Lightning Experience customizations
- Ability to do object-oriented programming (OOP) in Apex
- Competent with Salesforce Object Query Language, SOQL
- Experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL methods
- Experience with data migration and integrating third-party platforms and internal proprietary systems with Salesforce
- Experience creating custom processes and workflows within Salesforce
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Demonstrated understanding of software engineering concepts and working on full lifecycle engineering efforts using Agile methodologies, object-oriented design, and accepted design patterns and practices
- Experience with Confluence/Jira ticketing system
- Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree (computer science, MIS or equivalent preferred)
- (Preferred) Experience integrating with accounting systems like NetSuite
- Candidates must be eligible to work in in the United States without limitation
