Description
The Senior Software Engineer, API/ Mulesoft leads, develops, publishes, and manages frontend and backend APIs, using Mulesoft and other technologies, following established configuration/change control processes. This position works closely with peers, stakeholders and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.

Job Duties
- Lead analysis, design, development, and deployment of complex applications across functional teams involving multiple integration and other technologies to meet committed deliverables
- Partner and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to deliver solutions to meet the business need with quality and within the defined timeline
- With minimal supervision, design, develop, test, and implement backend APIs/Web Services solutions using Mulesoft to integrate disparate business systems in multi-tier environments, using best practices to develop clustered, reliable, scalable, and high performance APIs
- Create/develop complex Mulesoft processes, schemas, maps, assemblies and .Net libraries for internal and external system connections for Backend APIs; monitor and troubleshoot Mulesoft messages, instances, and services
- Create and maintain Mulesoft parties and agreements; create and maintain design and process flow documents to support the full software development lifecycle
- Design, develop, test, and implement backend and frontend API (Web Service/REST) solutions using C#, .NET, Node.js, JavaScript, XML, JSON, XSLT using best practices, patterns, versioning, and iterative design methodologies
- Collaborate with business partners, architect and technical groups to review, design, and implement requirements and strategy; provide estimates for development effort
- Participate and identify potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability, as part of the production go-live warranty support period and L3 production support of systems during regular and off-hours
- Conduct performance testing, tune and optimize APIs to meet the SLAs
- As a subject matter expert, mentor less experienced Software Engineers on a day to day basis
Essential Skills
- Minimum 6 years experience as a Software Engineer, preferably in the financial services industry, including experience with system analysis, design, development, and deployment experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience leading complex and large scale applications involving multiple integration technologies.
- Minimum 4 years Mulesoft development experience
- 4+ years experience with Microsoft product suite API manager, AnyPoint Studio, DataWeave, Runtime Manager, CloudHub preferred.
- Experience integrating with multiple data formats (SOAP, REST, JSON, JSONL) required
- Experience documenting APIs with Swagger preferred
- Experience with Git and CICD Pipelines.
- Nice to have skills REST/SOAP , SQL, Oracle And nice to have C#, .Net, BizTalk, Caching, API Management Tool (Apigee), Node.js, Java Script, XPath, XSLT, WCF, Micro Services, Angular JS, jQuery, Scripting (WMI, PowerShell).
- Strong systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, organizational skills and problem solving skills
- Ability to understand technical landscape and strategy
- Ability to work autonomously in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Superb business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiences
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Minimum Education:Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or other related fields of study or equivalent work experience

Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR:$119k - $133k annually + annual bonus
Target Compensation inRocklin, CA 95765:$130k - $150k annually + annual bonus
Target Compensation in San Jose, CA 95134:$148k - $155k annually + annual bonus
